Seven Stars Inn
The Seven Stars Inn is the original Chester County
steakhouse; historical records show that a “publik house”
existed there since 1736!
For decades, the Seven Stars Inn has defined the traditions
of a great steakhouse; overly generous portions of the
finest beef, veal and seafood served in a careful and
gracious white table atmosphere. Prices for an adult dinner
(all include cheese and crackers, a loaf of fresh baked
bread, a salad and two vegetables) range from $20 to $40
with some Lobster Tail items quite a bit higher. |
The house specialty is a Roast Western Prime Rib that is 32 to 40
oz. and slow roasted all day. Many guests are certain that it is the
best piece of beef they have ever eaten. The other entrees are also
quite large in size and include a variety of great steaks, veal,
lamb and seafood dishes.
There is a well stocked wine cellar that was built in an old tunnel
discovered during some recent reconstruction. The wine list is
interesting and comprehensive, but reasonably priced, with most
wines under $50.00. It is organized by style, rather than by
varietal or country of origin. This makes it easy to try new wines
that are generally of the type one might have enjoyed in the past.
Weeknights are Bring Your Own Wine nights.
The Seven Stars is family friendly. There is not only a great
Children's Menu but also a Young Adult's Menu. Both of these menus
scale down the size of the serving and price of their offerings to
help mom and dad afford an evening out with the whole family.
The restaurant serves dinner only and is closed on Mondays. The
Seven Stars Inn is a smoke free restaurant. Credit cards are
accepted. Reservations are suggested.
